When installing plastic roofs which allows sunlight to pass through inside the house on daylight (don't know how it is called), I recommend that you double it instead of just one so it won't easily break even if it is hit with something outside the house. I installed two (doubled) on the roof of our comfort room a long time ago, seven years probably and up to now it is still intact.
Use a plastic wire or cable as big as the ones that got broken to replace the rusty metal handle of your old pail or balde.
If you had a problem with your doorknobs locking you in or out of your rooms and is already tired of installing new ones
because of the hassles and costs, .................................. You can just pin down what I will just call because I don't know how it is called the tonque
of the doorknob on the side of the door right beside the doorknob. Remove or unscrew what I will just call the metal guard where the tonque is attached when closing. In the middle of it is what I will just call a flap, hammer it and flatten, everything must be flat.... Then remove or uncrew the two screws on the side of the doorknob. Afterwards attach the metal guard on the same hole where the first screw was removed. The flap of the metal guard will pin down the tonque so it will no longer get in the way of closing and opening of the doorknob. You can also make a hole to screw the second hole of the metal guard on the side of the door. You can just then use the doorlock to close your door.......
